Default 2020 RCF TE eeking noise when slightly steer

I recently noticed that my car makes a non-repeating cricket noise when I slightly steer the wheel. The noise is not constant; it can be loud at times and not at all at other times. Sometimes, it even disappears for a while. I can’t pinpoint the exact location of the noise, but it definitely seems to be coming from the passenger front. full locking U-turn driving or parking is also fine.

Yeah, a weird noise indeed. Almost sounds like coming from the carbon ceramics. I know it sounds weird since you are not stepping on the brakes, but that is the type of noise I would typically hear when I am braking. Did you try different modes? You are using normal mode and since the steering changes in SPORT+, do you get the same noise?

Seems like most noticeable on normal driving and light input on steering. it disappeared when I drove hard. making sudden turns and fullly locking for u-turns also didn’t replicate it. I suspect it a normal behavior of carbon ceramic brakes but its weird because I didn’t touch the brake at all.

If you don't need the ceramic brakes you can change the pads and rotors to normal on the same calipers, if you find the noises annoying because carbon ceramics are noisy.
