Default What exhaust is this?

Hi fellers,

I need some eaggled eyed experts here. I'm trying to identify the brand of the aftermarket exhaust installed in this RCF.

The owner says that he gets a check engine light, and he suspects the aftermarket exhaust. I don't know what the fault code is yet, but once I do I'll share it.

So owner says that it is a Meisterschaft exhaust, is it a full exhaust system? I don't know. I will have the car lifted today and get some pics.

Anything to look for other than seals and gaskets?

So I had the car scanned with techstream and the CEL code was P013A.

After a bit of forum searching, it appears to be a gasket problem from the exhaust. Are the OEM or after market gasket fitted? I don't know.

But what I do know is that the car has the CAT back LSR steel and Exhaust with Vaccum Control. Not bad considering that this system is worth more than 5k.

Now a few issues,

What gaskets should I get? Help is really appreciated.

The other thing is, owner lost the Vacum Control Remote 🙂

Is there a way to get one and program it to work with the exisiting system?

^^^^You only need to borrow one. Once you have the remote, you can program one of the three garage door openers to control the valves on your exhaust. I had an ISF and currently have an LC500 and both have PPE headers and dual mode exhaust. I control the exhaust valves with one of the remote buttons. Same with the iSF.

So unfortunately I don't know anyone with a remote control for the Meisterschaft Valve Control. The next step was to contact GtHaus and see if they would sell me a remote, and this was their response.

"To fully utilize our valve control system, you will need to purchase the Wireless Remote Kit. Unfortunately, there are no temporary control solutions available for this system. Please be aware that if the remote is lost, you will need to purchase a replacement kit, which includes the transmitter, remote x2, and any other necessary components, at a cost of $300.00. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please let us know."

Any advice? or does anyone know the supplier of their remotes so I can at least try using the remote? or possibly just get a new control motor with a new remote instead of the entire kit.
