Default Tune - Long Term Reliability

Was curious if anybody had any opinions on the tunes for the RC F and how they affect the long term reliability of these cars?

Im looking at a tuned by LOI tune. Setup is only CAI and Catback. No headers and don’t plan on getting them. I’m aware the HP isn’t going to be huge unless I have headers, but I’m curious if I get the car tuned, would it have any negative drag on the cars long term reliability? I am aware that a bad tune can negatively impact the car, but if it’s tuned by a reliable tuner like LOI, I assume it shouldn't change much?

I have had the RR Racing tune for 3+ years now. A few bolt ons and RR Racing tune. Zero issues to report.

Did you dyno before and after? What did you gain in HP from those mods?

RR Racing did a dyno thrashing session of before and after. You should check out the thread as it gives how much did each mod yield. I guess, we will meet some time in the summer, and you can check it out yourself. The differences are very noticeable.

As long as you don’t get the pop and bang style tune you should be perfectly fine.

Agreed. My Borla already has enough subtle burbles and pops as it is, and I want to keep it that way.
