Question 17' RCF ECU/ECM Replacement

Was wondering if anyone with an RC-F has replaced their ECU/ECM on their own?

I had a front end collision and mine got crushed pretty good.. Found a pre-owned one with the same year as mine and in excellent shape. (saved about $1,300)

After getting a hefty quote from my local Lexus Dealership and asking parts' if it was plug-in play or needed to be programmed, he stated he got with his technician
and he had told him it was plug-in play but there's two wires you're needing to use in order to jump it?? This currently has me stumped.

It's fully plugged up but the OBD scan says "Lost connection with ECM"..

Wondering if there's a pinched wire somewhere I'm not visibly seeing.. Will be removing the front end on Friday to inspect and see for myself.
If there is, and its not ohm sensitive, I should be able to repair it. Hoping it ends up straight forward & won't need to be towed to Lexus.

Thanks for any feedback / help!

update 11-10-23:
Got most of the front end off after a late start. Ran out of daylight but hopefully tomorrow I'll know more and maybe find a ground disconnected or pinched wire.
- complete *Radiator Support came in the mail along with the *Coolant Neck. The *ECM Box assembly will be arriving this Monday..

If the ECM got crunched that badly I would imagine the harness is not great either.

Id check all your fuses as I would imagine more than one is probably blown.

Still needing to inspect it further, I didn't get a chance to today.. If it is bad though, I'd be looking at the complete engine wire harness correct?
If it's not too bad or ohm sensitive, I may be able to perform a possible repair.

If it is the engine wire harness, I do remember seeing some on eBay from some 2015's.. I wonder if they'd work on mine?
