Default Differential Oil Replacement Due

My '16 RC F-sport is approaching 60K miles and according to the owner's manual, I'm due for a diff oil replacement. The manual calls for:
1.42 quarts of
Toyota Differential Gear Oil LT 75W- 85 GL5 or
Toyota Differential Gear Oil LX 75W- 85 GL5 (if equipped with Limited Slip Diff)

The cheapest I've found for this OEM oil was $40 per quart

I'm deciding to go with an aftermarket brand:
Redline 75W85 GL-5 Gear Oil (50104), which is only $18 per quart
It satisfies both the Toyota "LT" and" LX" requirement.

Has anyone done this DIY on their RC? Tips? Tricks?

I would stick with OEM oil since it has been proven to work well. Aftermarket brands may not stand the test of time and wear down parts prematurely due to oil breaking down faster. Either you pay now or pay later.

If you are going to Track or AutoX your RC then maybe go with after market gear oil....but if its just for regular driving I would stay with the OEM brand.

The Toyota OEM 75W-85 GL-5 fluid is at least $50 a liter now. The Car Care Nut says the dealerships don’t even use that stuff due to the price. He had some Valvoline 75W-90 GL-5 on set.
I notice the Honda OEM 75W-85 GL-5 is under $25 a quart.
Aside from the blasphemous aspect of putting Honda juice in a Lexus, it seems to meet the specs listed in the owners manual perfectly.
