Default Random Q on CAI Install

So I recently installed a K&N CAI in my car and I had a random question about part of the install. I was looking at some pictures of post install and it seems like I put the hoses on inside out...looking at the pictures it seems the glossy side is facing out. Just out of curiosity and I guess some extra peace of mind, does anyone know if this matters at all so long as the intake tube is fit and secured?

If the material on the inside/outside is the same you should be fine as long as there are no leaks.

If it were my car, I would reinstall it to give myself peace of mind.

These two clamps are too close to each other. Try moving both of them away from each other and closer to the edges of the silicon hose.

Something like this;

Like mentioned above clamps need to be spaced out, also the rubber part the sticky side goes on the inside to prevent tube from sliding.

Thanks guys! Yeah for the peace of mind I flipped it, I had to buy slightly bigger hose clamps in order to properly space them out.
