Hey guys, I know a few people have gotten aftermarket shift *****. But can I put an RCF shift **** in my 2015 RC350? They look interchangeable to me. But it’s hard to eye-ball the dimensions of the RCF shift **** just from pictures. Seems like the base of the RCF **** is a little wider...

But then Lexus would have needed to produce a different shift boot/sleeve for the RCF as well (and that doesn’t seem like something Lexus would do).

 

Yes and No, In order to install an RCF shift **** you need the RCF boot. The way the RC and RCF clip on the shift boot are different. I’m in the process of exchanging my RC shift ****/boot for the RCF version.

 

They look like they would fit. I just bought an RCF boot but cut the clip off as I was putting in my custom ****.

 

No the RCF **** has a different clip that clips on the boot. It’s not a direct fit.

 

I plan to swap my RC350 **** and boot for an OEM RC-F one. I bought both oem on ebay and hopefully will install soon. Will post photos. It may be a while bc i also bought a spare center console to wrap in carbon fiber while uninstalled and do it all at once. I bought a cheap fake carbon fiber center console inlay from ebay and im not happy with it.
