Default Leather stitching on seats

Hey yall! happy weekday & hope everyone is having a good days & staying safe out there. I have a little situation. SO my car, I wash it every week or two. I make sure that I keep it clean as well as my seats. I just started to look at my drivers seat & the stitches on it is coming apart. Again I only have 50k miles on it. I daily drive it. But for the year the miles is pretty low. I called Lexus Corp and made a complain about it. They mentioned that a service manager will be in touch with me by tomorrow. Has anyone here had anything like that happened to them as well? & if you did was there something you did that could help me? Please & thank you to everyone. Please be safe!

My car had that problem early on and Lexus made good on it and replaced the seat cover. What year is your RC?

My wife's is a 2017, but this is happening on her passenger seat. Not the driver side. We haven't contacted Lexus because we figured it was just wear and tear from normal use. We have 27K miles on ours.

The thing is those seats are meant to last and for it being a 2017 I would contact the dealership or lexus corp they should replace it for you cause that newer than mine.

With the mileage and the every day use you will have to convince the dealer. In my case they called Lexus and Lexus approved it. I don't think the dealer will do it on their own.

At about the two year mark, I noticed that some stitching was coming apart on the lower part of my driver's seat, even though my car had very few miles on it. The dealer looked at it, and then informed me that it would be replaced under warranty.
Service with a smile, and I've had no such problems since.
