Default Sulfur Smell?!

Hi everyone

I have experienced a sulfur smell (it smells like eggs) when accelerating on the gas and/or aggressive driving. It only lasts for a short time and can only be smelt when the windows are down. Has anyone else experienced this with their RC?

Background info...I purchased the vehicle pre-owned, it's a '15 RC350 AWD w/32k miles on it. I owned the car for only 2 months and it runs/drives/performs great! I haven't gotten any check engine lights, codes, etc., all is normal. I use mostly Premium gas.

I searched and found similar thread on the IS forums, and others have said this is normal behavior for Toyota/Lexus vehicles. So is normal for the catalytic convertor on our vehicles? Is it weather associated with different types of gas blends being used? I doubt the catalytic converter has gone bad already, right?

Thanks in advance!

^^ I have a 2017 IS350 (V6) and I occasionally experience the smell too, and sometime I can smell it via the car ventilation so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just can be awkward if you have a beautiful passenger and she might think you farted related to the excitement of accelerating (lol)
