I added a flip cover for my push start. :/
Hey guys, this is my first post so I apologize if I posted in the wrong place! I usually just lurk never post.
Anyway i I always loved the Aventadors flip cover for the push start. I saw that the newer mustangs can add this on. I decided to buy and see how it would fit/ look on on our car. I kind of got mixed feelings about. It does look pretty out of place. I may wrap it in matte black or a darker red.
What do do you guys think? Once again my apologies if the images are attached wrong or something lol.

I like the creative thinking. for that.
I don't think it's for me though. Maybe brushed aluminum or something could get me more excited, but probably not. Like you said, maybe different color.
I'm slightly worried about my start button getting scratched up over time. It gets pressed a lot and I generally keep cars pretty long.
I wonder if this would create an angle where fingernails would be more likely to impact the plastic instead of the fleshy bit of the finger. Different people will have different experiences with this of course. Unclear to me if these buttons will get their words rubbed off over a decade, or if they hold up well.
I've wondered about putting a replaceable cover over mine. Not as a flip cover, but for protection.
Cheers.

hmm.. nope.
I can see the reason on a Lambo, the start button is in the middle of the console with all the other controls for the infotainment and such.. Not needed on an RC.

I'd strongly suggest you flip UP instead of flipping it down.
