Default Grill swap base to f-sport

Hello all new member here. I’m sure it’s been done already but I’ve searched and can’t seem to find it can anyone point me to a thread showing a base Rc350 grill swapped with and f-sport

I could be wrong but I don't think there is a difference.

Does your front grill have fog lights? I think it might be, check with one of the vendors.

No fog lights part of the reason I want to swap and I hate this grill. If I didn’t get such a good deal on the car I wouldn’t of bought it because of the grill

I was looking at F-sport grilles and they are only $800 new now. Even the face lifted RC base/ luxury grille has a similar grille as the F-sport. I would totally do this but I don't know how to even take off the bumper... Here's the listing that I found and it has free returns: https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-RCF-F...53.m1438.l2649

MyLParts has the genuine lexus F-sport grill for slightly more...$850ish. I would do that before getting off ebay saving <$100. Removal should not be that hard. The interwebs will have videos and walk throughs.

I confirmed with the service dept. at my dealer that this is possible. Im going to be ordering the fsport grill here in the next week or two, and make a write up on the process.

Ok everyone, the grille is set to arrive on monday after several emails with a toyota dealership and their supplier. hopefully it will come sooner, if fedex decides to not be lazy.

I already tested to see how hard it was to remove the stock front grille, and its super easy. Before I install it, i'm going to be painting the chromes, as they separate from the grille as well which I also tested.

Take pics of the process as I want to see how hard it is to take the grill apart.

I'm definitely down to do this too. Just wish the grilles were not overpriced.
