I just picked up my 2015 RC 350 with molten pearl from carmax. The carfax was clean. I even called the dealership that serviced it to get the run down on all the work completed on it. No red flags at all. Once I got it home I noticed the front and rear bumper were different shades from the rest of the car. Has anyone else run across this before? Any suggestions?

Probably not a mis-match, looks like it was left a lot outside. Bumper = plastic will fade with sunlight, take a look at the front bumper and side skirts as well.... If you wanna see a real mis-match. This is mine, it has been repainted. ( I haven't fixed it yet but It'll run me about 200)
The rear bumper probably had some scratches on it, so the previous owner most likely had the rear bumper repainted at a local paint shop. It's very common, as drivers like to bump other cars while parking.
100% I have this problem as well. Ive got the Molten Pearl and the paint fades at different rates for plastics and metal. I've got a ceramic coating since I picked up the car and just had it redone so its not a lack of care of a wrecked/ repainted issue. Next time I get the car to the dealership I am going to try and talk them into fixing it even though I am past the warranty. I highly doubt they will do the right thing and fix it though.
Yeah it's plastic vs. metal. My white has different shades too between the bumper and body if u look at it at certain angle and light.
Just touch and feel where the bumper ends and meets the fender liner on the wheel well and see if it's smooth or rough. Smooth means original factory paint and rough means it has been repainted.
They could never get that area right, I've seen 90% smooth on a repainted bumper but not factory perfection.
