Default RR Racing Tune - Question

Hey so I bought the RR Racing tune and followed the instructions last night and sent them the map.......does anyone know how long they take to send back the updated map?

I'm just really anxious to tune it up and up the rev limiter!!!!

EDIT......nvm i got a call back from the company and the guy said it'll be today!!!!

Do you have a 300 or 350? I immediately felt the difference on my 300 after the tune. By far worth the cost!

Awesome to hear, I'm considering it for my GS. First of all do you know if that rev limiter is safe for our engines? Any potential downsides?

okay so i take back my comment of not noticing gains......ive noticed that the acceleration is much more quicker and i do feel the gains

before i was more focused on the rev limiter and hitting 7200 but damn this is so much better than stock

and i researched somewhere in this forum that someone said it wears on the engine a bit but still within safe levels cuz i doubt you'll be red lining all day every day

this is definitely a must buy.....it does take a little work but as long as you can read directions and follow instructions its really easy

i also heard you can tell RR Racing to push the rev limiter from 7200 to like 7600/7800 i forgot the number but that person said thats when it starts to become unsafe and possible downsides

but that still in moderation so you can push the engine more but how much longer the engine will last is the mystery
