Default Any big guys here, are you comfortable in an RC

Hi all,

Looking for a new sport coupe, and have pretty much narrowed it down to an RC-350 F-Sport with all the goodies.

Test drove a few and I'm concerned about the comfort during more than a 10 minute test drive. I'm 6' 0", long wasited (a bit more than average of my height is in my torso than my legs), so I clear the headliner by about an inch with the seat all the way down. I'm also big, 230 pounds.

How do you bigger guys feel in the RC, especially during longer drives?

Thanks in advance!

I am 6'2" and 235, my baseball hat touches the ceiling sometimes other than that I drive back-and-forth to Tennessee from Wisconsin every once in a while with no problems.

I would say at most, it might take a week or two to get used to the seats. I'm 3 weeks in to my RC, coming from 3 years of driving a '14 GS, it definitely felt a little more snug.

I'm 6' 8" and I fit just fine in my RC F. I have to run the seat all the way back and down though, my head is still close to the ceiling and a racing helmet may be an issue.

The outside thigh bolster digs into my leg with my foot on the dead pedal. This is the same problem I have with the IS seat. I believe they are the same or very similar seats. I am 6 foot 290, big shoulders and thighs.

Try pulling your seat closer to the wheel/gas pedal and make sure you have a slight bend on your elbows when you are holding the steering wheel. The further back I sit in the RC seat the worse the "thigh" dig was apparent. If I adjusted it by moving closer to wheel/pedal closer and sit like I'm in a race car on a race track, the seat is superb. Oh--losing some pounds around the thighs might help :-) especially if you have a wide hips/body frame. I am 6'3 209 lbs to give you an idea of my body type.
