I need to find a tuner in my area to do that, I've been thinking a BMS Tune but that won't get rid of the CEL

man if you want you can pay for a obd2 scanner
Amazon Amazon
now what this will allow you to do is erase any check engine lights but I’m not use if your dealer checks it, it may or may not pop up again. So there is that option!

I have one. PPE said if I'm throwing a p0420 code, I need to try the largest restrictor in the O2 adapter. Hopefully this works and my CEL goes away. I'm just waiting for the car to cool down.

What did they mean by “try the largest restrictor? Like pull that one out the way?

They sent me an o2 adapter that came with a spacer and different sized restrictors. I had the smallest in, installed by the shop and it threw a CEL. I contacted PPE and Figs, PPE said try without the restrictor but if it still has a CEL to check the code. If it was P0420 they said to run the largest restrictor. Figs off the bat said try running the largest one. I hope this works.

it didn’t come with the downpipe did it? They sent you that seperatly? And did you have to pay for the spacer or did they send that to you free of charge?

It did not come with the downpipe, I emailed Figs inquiring about it and they asked for a picture of what I sent. I forgot about since I ordered a 90 degree angled one on Amazon that another user recommended. I got a package in the mail from Figs with the O2 adapter afterwards. My shop said they couldn't install the 90 degree adapter since it hits the transmission, so they'd need to uninstall the downpipe to do it...but since I had the other adapter from Figs I went with that instead. Unfortunately I have to do trial and error to find what restrictor will work, instead of going back to the shop I just uninstalled the secondary O2 and adapter and have been testing different fittings.

I'm really hoping this latest trial works.

dang so I was stressing for nothing cause I thought I wouldn’t but some people said (on YouTube) that youll probably throw one anyways. But have you felt the difference and in noise with the downpipe? Or not really?

Shoot bro. I actually had to delay the installation of my DP cause my car has an exhaust leak so I’m getging it seen this Friday but it’s most likely just a loose bolt or gasket hopefully nothing to worry about. Then soon he that DP and a charge pipe in soon. Almost done performance wise with the vehicle and then get a dyno tune coming in, in about 2 months max
