I purchased an RC 300 AWD a few months ago. Great car, outstanding engineering...but like everyone else I miss a more noticeable exhaust note. Yes, it is not a Mustang GT with a V8......but a bit more hum or growl would be great.
Has anyone put an aftermarket or the Lexus performance cat back system on their RC? I wondered if the Lexus system, which is similar price to the aftermarket offerings would make any significant difference in sound and performance? Is the Lexus performance exhaust standard on the F-Sport package? Or...is it an add on for the F-Sport as well?
1. There are several companies offering an axle back option Ex. Magnaflow, Greddy, JoeZ, Tanabe, etc.
2. Performance is minimal in any brand but sound is also minimal in the F Sport version
3. No
4. Yes

Hey, hope you're doing well. I went with the Lexus F-Sport Performance exhaust. There were aftermarket ones out there but some of them were a bit rough sounding. Contrary to popular belief the F-Sport Exhaust is deep, sounds clean and fairly loud. It's tuned well and has a nice sound -- it turns heads everywhere.
The mufflers are made of a very polished stainless steel. I would've preferred it in a quad tip configuration, but the tips that it does come with are solid in size and thickness. If you do install this, you'll have to use the F-Sport diffuser.
I've had nothing but compliments and the thing sounds great. I installed an AFE Power Takeda intake as well and the combination beautiful. Attached a few pics of the F-Sport Exhaust
I gotta say I love the ARK Grip! The quality is great, performance is great, and the sound quality....My that will be what you live for! Price is great too as there is a sale going on right now. Contact Erick at ARK!
The most popular is the Ark Performance exhaust. The Greddy axle back just came out, which should be a nice, aggressive sound. Contact us with any questions!

Our system is a full catback system for the AWD unlike the axle backs others offer.
