Default RC 350 AWD RS-R Down or Super Down Springs

Hello all,

Looking to see if any of you have installed either the RS-R Down Springs or Superdown Springs on an AWD model and have any pictures. I can't decide between the two.

If you have either, please post a picture and tell me how you like them!

Cheers,

JC

AWD lowered on RS-R Superdowns. I chose this over the Tanabe NF210 because I didn't want my front to be too low.

How low do you want to go? Lot of my customers go with just the down because AWD = don't want to be driving a snow plow. :P

Ya, what Josh said. I got the AWD, just put on the fronts for my springs actually to level out my car. Went from a 4 finger to a two finger front. Very happy with it, and didn't even put on the rears

Looks great, how's the tire wear?

The downs or the super downs in the front?

That looks good. What size are your rims? Any rubbing at all?

Following up from our offline conversation, here's a shot of mine with front-only RS-R Down Springs.
The slight rake is much more pleasing to my eyes and the ride is even more sportier (if that's possible).
Hope this helps in your decision. I'm very happy with these! My dealer, who did the install, also thought they looked cool.

This looks very nice. One of the best IMO. Something I was looking into as well to only lower the front to balance the stance as AWD are way too high in the front. Thanks for sharing the profile pic. Question about the ride. Did the ride become little "harsh"? when you say sportier? Where I am in NJ, our roads are like 3rd world with pot holes etc. I would like the ride to be super smooth.

Sure thing! I wouldn't say the ride became "harsh", but one thing my dealer made me aware of with the AWD, and I agree, is that you do feel a little more of the road. For me, that was the "sportier" aspect of it as it was just enough of a difference.

This mod, together with my APEXi Accel Controller, Takeda CAI and F Sport Performance Exhaust, really transformed the stock set up into something pretty special. With the pot holes you mention, you may get some additional jarring sensation, for sure.

I did the downs in the front. Didn't really need to lower the back.

Thanks for sharing. I'm going to do the RS-R Downs on my AWD as well. Maybe I would have gone with the super downs if I didn't have to deal with New York winters. Downs will be perfect.

Unless you want the superdown to turn your car into a snow plow.
