When I started up my car yesterday I was informed there was a mandatory software update available. After the update was finished, there was a new app in the Enform screen. It uses live traffic data to provide an estimate of the ETA to your destination, and offers alternate routes. The information is constantly updated and there's a graphical representation of your journey with colour coding for the traffic volume. If you click on the Map tab, you will see a Google Map representation of your route with icons representing roadworks, accidents etc.

The little car moves along during your journey and the colours indicate the heaviness of the traffic





Accidents, roadworks etc are also displayed. The map tab brings up a Google map version of your route.

 

Just available in the land down under, I presume?

 

Pretty cool. I haven't seen anything yet for mine, but hopeful we will get it also.

Very cool, gives hope it'll hit the US soon.

 

Here in Australia, they haven't started charging for Enform so it's just part of the free suite. I've been adding a few other locations and you can choose various icons. Here's the one for my gym:
