Hi guys,

Ive been trying to find a reputable muffler shop in the OC or Carlsbad / Rancho Sante Fe area that will do a muffler delete and keep my stock tips on.

Ive brought it to a few in the south OC area and said they wouldnt be able to keep the stock tips on. I know its possible from the few youtube videos I have seen online. But any information would be appreciated.

I know that Mike's exhaust in LA can do it with the stock tips.

Ya I saw that video and have been trying to located a place near me that would do that. Driving all the way to la is pretty harsh for me.

Yup sure did. I went to the same place that you got yours done. Also ordered the same tips too. Thanks for the link btw! I wish I had the extra time I come down to see yours in person. It sounded amazing but I think for myself i drive too much so the drone was a little over bearing at times.

I had to replaced back to stock after a day.

It was a mixture of the drone in the cabin and wanting the stock tips that made me switch back. I should have put the spare back in the car to check if it helped with the sound deadening.

Really? I mean I guess it could be from the missing spare but I cant imagine that it would make THAT big of a difference. Aren't you coming from a 458? Haha this car has to sound like a Prius compared to that.

Hahhaahha ya I am and a 575M. I guess it was more of me wanting the stock tips more than the drone but even though I might make the trek up north to get them done.

I tried talking to Richard (I think that was his name) and a few more muffler shops around the area to see if they could just make the pipes and connect them to the stock tips but all of them were to scared to do it.

Only thing I can really think of is buying some stock tips somewhere and wielding them on.

Yeah, the stock tips have a weird attachment to the mufflers.

Let me know if you're ever up in the area, we have a ton of events always going on in Orange County. We just did Targa Trophy not too long ago and you would probably enjoy taking the 458 or 575M. I've been super busy with work but I'm going to force myself to make the time!

Ya for sure, I split my time a lot from over here SD. So If I'm in the area just shoot me a PM when they happen and if I'm in town. Just been really busy lately though with work ect. But sounds really interesting.
