Anyone move from a 2IS to an RC? I've got a 2013 2IS 250 F-Sport and I'm considering a switch to the RC. The ride in normal mode is much smoother than my IS, which I prefer. However, I also really enjoy the handling of the IS in corners and the like. How does the RC compare in that regard?

 

I switched from a 15 IS250 to the 15 RC350...RC stock feels like a boat driving, so if you get one make sure to get springs or coils to lower the car and make handling more pleasant. I also got wider wheels and tires maybe thats also making the car more enjoyable.

 

slightly off topic, how does the interior room compare between a 2IS and RC coupe. i know one is a coupe and the other is a sedan, but RC's platform is based on the hybrid IS and GS platform, so does that mean the interior room of the RC is similar if not bigger than the 2IS?

 

For the RC, the front portion is from the GS, the rear portion from the 3IS, and the mid section from the 2IS convertible.

The 2IS sedan's interior volume is 98.7 cu ft.
The 1RC coupe's interior volume is 94.2 cu ft.

For reference, the 2IS convertible's interior volume is 82.9 cu ft.
