RC Credit Card Key
So, I just discovered the credit card key that they make. However, they all seem to be specific for each model. Does anyone have one for the RC350? Or does anyone know if they make it for the RC350? I've long carried my keys on a carabiner for ages and amongst the fact that you can hear me coming a mile away, they also have a tendency to rub up and scratch alot of things. So this gives me a good reason to go keyless. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Yes, there is one for the RC 350. The part no. is 89904-53511 / HYQ14CBB. Here is an ebay link as well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-RC350-...-/111625490861.
You're going to need your dealership program they key. And, the physical key would also need to be cut if you want to use it.

Just an update. got Techstream and everything needed to program the key... The car sees the key, but because it’s a used key, it won’t program. anyone know how to reset this key?

you need a seed code. google "Lexus seed Code" weboctopus.nl should have codes for you to purchase.
These are the codes needed for techstream to reset your key fobs so you can program used fobs to your car.
basically you're going to clear out all your key fobs, it's a 15min process. then you re-add all your fobs then add the key card at the end.

Have you had any luck connecting a new key to your car?
Lexus Australia quoted me $830 for a new OEM key. So I asked my local locksmith and they said they can't make any spare keys for me at all.
I have pulled apart my key to look at the chipboard inside. I have chipboard number 281451-2020. I can order this part including the whole key online for $82US plus postage.
Please let me know if your able to get this to work.

I just had the blank card key cut at my local dealer, part number is 69515-30350. I can also attest that the aforementioned key card (89904-53511 / HYQ14CBB) also works on the 2019 model.
It would be great if Lexus offered these card keys with the vehicle purchase. I find it to be much more convenient than carrying a key fob and worth the cost.

Sorry for posting in the RC Credit Card thread but thanks for pointing me in the right direction regarding the proximity key. I thought my Australian car may not pair with an American key or have a compatible OBD port but everything worked well. For the physical key, I just had it cut at my local shopping center.
