Default White on red - Aussie version

After waiting almost four months, I finally collected my new F Sport from my local dealer in Sydney this morning. It's Ultra White on Dark Rose, which equivalent to your Rioja Red.

I've noted a few differences from the US model which are immediately apparent:

1. We get the triple-LED headlights as standard across the whole RC350 range;

2. The side mirrors are electrically retractable. When in the Auto position, they fold in when the engine is stopped and the doors are locked. The other button to the left operates them manually;

3. No fog lights are offered on the F Sport, however they are standard on the base RC350 (the "Luxury") and the premium non-F model (the "Sports Luxury");

4. The badges at the back are different. Rather than the F Sport badge, we get the Lexus one.

I've only driven it a few kilometres so far, but first impressions are excellent. The build quality is awesome and I got the USB stick (with about 200 songs) working within about 15 seconds of inserting it - without the delays some others have mentioned.

Congrats, it looks great! You're so lucky that you get those headlights and power folding mirrors, I'm jealous.

Awesome. Your Fog Lights are integrated into the headlights. You got an expensive car right there in Australia. What was it like $95k AU? Thats $73k US dollar. I can see why you guys get some extra features for $20k over what we pay in US. Hopefully as time goes on we can get those parts aftermarket. Congrats!!

Thanks. It was $85k including all taxes, registration, windows tinting. We have a luxury car tax which is levied at 33% for every dollar about $57k, plus a 10% GST, so there's over $10k worth of taxes.

Anyway, I'm glad Lexus Australia insisted on a high spec as standard. Thanks for the info about the fog lights. I hadn't realised that. It's odd that the base RC350 has the tri-LEDs plus the separate fog lights.

Congratulations! I also have the exact same spec minus the sunroof on order (white with red, F sport). Ordered it last week, mid Jul delivery. Looking at your pics, I can't wait!

Me too. Car would be almost complete with those features. But only another 20-50 hp would make it totally complete for me.

Congrats!
