So, what is the purpose of these, besides the cool factor?

I installed mine today and there is definitely a cool factor but there is a practical reason.
It increases the width of the car to fit the wider wheels.
The reason it comes on the RC-F is to make it legal width in all 50 states. Since we're putting wider wheels on the RC350 at the dealership we have increase the width of the car.
I did it on my car just to be cool though.

The car is dropped on RSR springs. I believe they are 1.5 drop.
Vossen wheels 20x9, 20x10.5.

OK, that makes perfect sense. Widen the body and keep the police off your butt. LOL

Is this the one at Lexus of Pembroke Pines? I have the same color car, and wanted to do same wheels and suspension combo. About the fender things does your guy sells them color matched to atomic silver too?

By any chance do you know what are the tire sizes too? Are they the same as the ones from factory just wider? Thanks.

How can they be the same as factory. Stocks are 19. These are 20. 245-35-20 and 285-30-20.

I actually drove about 30 miles before I took this pic also

I'm not sure? I do a lot of highway driving (in Texas, everything is far), so most of that is highway mileage. I have the RWD version and keep it in eco mode. Maybe my driving habits are nice? I'm sure I'm not doing that much different than you??

Looks mean all around! Nice!
Which universal strip on the front lip did you purchase?
I am considering that to protect the chin.
