As for laser, the tapered front end of the RC and the lack of a vertical grille make a good laser hit less likely. Laser cops often aim for the front license plate of most cars for this reason, which is another good reason not to have one if you can avoid it. The SC400 was especially good in this regard; it offered no good laser target.

You are correct. Front license plate first, headlamps second and windshield is their third choice from what I've been told.

Bringing an old thread back.. as anyone used VALENTINE SAVVY with ESCORT PASSPORT 9500 ix? I see some people saying its okay. But some are saying it may damage the radar. Has anyone run this set up?

Damage the radar? How could anything damage high frequency electromagnetic waves?

FYI….a V1 can be mounted anywhere…if you have the remote display…in my Mini Cooper I had it mounted above the rear seat hanging off of the headliner. As long as it has vision front and rear your good. Does anyone know if there is any power somewhere around the rear window? In my Mini, we were able to run the cord up from under the dash, up the “A” pillar, into the headliner. Was completely concealed.
