So I am interested in darkening the red portion of my taillights but looking at them, given how many angles and dimensions they have (even mini fins), it feels like putting a tint film on them would not be an option. I've seen folks tint or smoke the clear portion of the lights. Has anyone had success doing the same with the red portion?

 

I've been contemplating doing this since i have black accents on the car as well..here's a picture of a complete blackout at the dealer

 

too dark for my taste. The red looks good on white any way. I might do a slight tint and then clear

 

I love this look. I am a a little new and lost on this, but what product do you think they wrapped this car with? Was the deck lid the same? Badges ? Would love to know tons more.

I had my spoiler painted obsidian. Supposed to pick it up/install Thursday.

Really want to know about those badges and wrap products....

I almost bought this car. The lights and the emblems are actually "painted" they are not wrapped. The roof and the window moldings (and front grill) are wrapped with glossy vinyl
