MoonRoof Delete Option

I got one in mine because I wanted it, but I have seen a RC or two at the dealership that did not have the moonroof. It is clearly listed as an option, although I have seen "options" that Lexus put on just about every car coming off the line. I would not let this be a dealbreaker, as it is nice to have and will help you re-sell the car.

I am 6'4" and normally wouldn't think twice about getting a car/coupe with a moonroof but after sitting in the RC and having slightly spiked hair it quite annoyingly brushed on the roof.

The moonroof in the RC does not reduce headroom nearly as much as a moonroof does in most other cars, I think. Due to the curvature of the roofline of the car, the moonfoof retracts outside the vehicle, above the roof, not into a pocket in the roof above the headliner. This pocket for the roof storage is what takes up headroom in those cars. Perhaps the shade, which is in two sections, takes up some room, but not much. I think that most of the RC headliners are a very dark gray (mine certainly is), so pulling back the shade and letting the light in through the glass panel brightens up the interior quite a bit.

That 1.5 is more than I would have guessed, but I'm not particularly tall and so that is not a difference I would notice. I have a few tall friends (some of my best friends are tall), and one has mentioned to me several times that, when shopping for cars, fitting into the driver's seat is a big factor that eliminates a lot of cars he would otherwise be interested in.
