Default Important Question

I am working on an ad for a newspaper we have to make for a school project. One of my group members is somehow formating it on his computer. I am incharge of making some ads and sending them to him via email. I edited a picture from the internet in photoshop and now I want to send him it. When I try to attach the edited picture to an email, it links directly to photoshop, which he doesnt have, and so he wont be able to open the file. I have tried to open the edited picture in Paint but it will only allow me to open the original and not any of the other pictures I have edited in photoshop.. So my question is, how do I attach this file to an email so that my partner can open it even if he doesnt have photoshop? Any help would be appreciated.

If he just needs to see it only, and not be able to edit the photoshop document then you can save it as a jpeg. What is happening is you are attaching the .PSD which is the actual photoshop documentation file.To save it as a jpeg go to file> save as>format = jpeg > save , then a box will pop up called jpeg options> drag the arrow across the bar under image options to change file size, check the preview box so you can see the quality change as you decrease the file size.Just figure out what is a reasonable size to email and click ok. This is the file you wanna email, not the .PSD
