the first gen gs are VERY RARE. i live in torrance so cali. and i see about 1 a day. if i'm lucky i'll see 2. i called a few junk yards and they go for around 200-300 a piece. thats a little too steep for me. even ones with all broken tabs go for 100-150 and are still too much

 

you prolly dont wanna do the erasable marker thing, it gets mighty hot in there, it would prolly just burn off....

If you like I can show you how mine looked before and after with the blacked out bezels (Legend) then you can get an idea of how it would look on your GS.....better yet, look at the link here....it shows the lights when they were chrome [factory] and blacked out
