i use irfanview. downloadable from www.irfanview.com - been using it for the past 7-8 years. it's a good program that not only resizes, it renames files, is cross file format compatible and displays almost anything you set it up with.

and - if's free.

oh yeah- it's a REALLY light application as well.

How do you make pics rectangular like everybody's sigs? Sorry for such a stupid question... but I have no knowledge bout pics and stuff. Thank you in advance

The one thing I dont like about itis that Vista hides the option from the right click button so you pretty much have to resize from the main menu icon. Can select multiple pics to work with, etc. Am still laying with it, but since no one else offered up a soluton for the Vista program, just offering what I found.
