Hey team,

Could anyone possibly confirm whether the stock IS350 exhaust system is the same between the pre-facelift (06-08) and the post-facelift (09-12) models? I assume it would be the same but I am wanting to swap exhaust systems with a friend of mine who has the XFORCE catback system and wants to go back to stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

I think it is. A while back I swapped my tanabe axle back for a guys stock axle back. He had a 2009+ and I have a 2008. I didn’t ask him if his stock exhaust was the original but I assume it was. Anyways it fit my car just fine for a few years. Only recently took it off and put on a magnaflow axle back.

 

100% the same between 06-12, the only 2nd gen IS that is different is the IS-F or IS-C.. The IS equipped with AWD is slightly different on the mid-pipe but axel-back is same as RWD IS...
