My current exhaust set up is: F sport axel back, F sport intake, Invidia midpipe
I just recently installed a used Invidia midpipe (used for about 1 year) and for the first 3 days of driving it around it has a pretty bad tin can/ricey sound around 2-3k rpms. Because its used, would there be a break in period? Do you guys think that this ricey exhaust note will go away? Let me know and thanks for all the help!
Once you remove the resonators you will get the rasp. Your options are to reinstall the stock midpipe or have an exhaust shop add resonators to the Invidia midpipe.
The reason why people choose Megan Racing midpipe (has three resonators) instead of the Invidia that only has one.
I highly suggest install resonators after the O2 sensors, following the same format as MR midpipe.
eBay item number: 384447093225 12" in length x 2.5 ID (not spam, not my store, buy whichever you want. Am just recommending the one I installed on my car and it works). For $60 shipped is a good deal.
My setup is PPE headers, stock midpipe with the above resonators, and an Aero resonator (the replacing the big can type (same location as MR), Yonaka axleback exhaust, no drone, no rasp. If you do the above will quiet the exhaust, a significant amount.

I don't understand why the crowd is so gun ho about the Invidia mid pipe and axle back exhaust. Every time I hear one it sounds like loud rattling ringing, motorcycle sounding crap to me. But to each his own.
