Hi Im trying to see if I could swap a 1uz-Fe engine in my 2015 is250. I did not have the option to get the 350 since my dad just came home with my car one day when I was 16. I don’t want to sell it since it’s payed off. I’m willing to spend about 6-7 k on this swap. My car is AWD too. If y’all have any recommendations on a better motor please let me know before I start this build.

why not a v8 from an ISF / RCF? Then u could always add SC or intake headers and exhaust later on... you should be able to move the ECU over possibly.....

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the OP...but the budget was a killer to that idea. The most effective swap would be to get a wrecked GSF/RCF so that way you have all the parts you need...engine, tranny, ECU, etc., but there's no way a wrecked vehicle like those will go for $6-7K...maybe $30K.

Exactly.
Maybe the plan is to turbo the 1UZ, as stock you'd be better off putting in a 350 motor as is.
Going 1uz route leaves open the ability to manual swap aswell, that being said you car most likely will not be able to be AWD, as you’ll need a trans compatible with the 1uz motor

I love the idea of putting a 1uz in a modern IS chassis, keep us posted
In the hunt for. Help and info on this swap for my 09 is250 manual. For the price of a supercharger and my fanboy with a 1uz just makes this perfect. Not looking for power or a lecture on what's better. Who has experience or any direction of who? Thank you
