Hmm, I didn't even notice that 0-60 time with a 1ft rollout at 4.39 seconds. Good find.

I'm not sure what's considered official between those two 0-60 figures.

I read from a different places that supposedly it is standard to use the 1 ft rollout. At least here in the US

So close, I bet you get it with some practice. Can you run that and torque at the same time? I'm curious how close they read.

I found the R&T performance metrics on the stock 07 IS350 which was the fastest published times from a major publication. It's interesting to compare the 0-60, 0-100, 40-60 and other figures between a stock 2IS350 and a tuned one.

Stock IS350 (Tuned IS350)
0-60: 4.9s (4.6s or 4.3s)
40-60: 2.2s (1.8s)
0-100: 12.7 (11.4s)

Default Finally in the 12s!!!

The FBO+RR-Racing Tuned "Redspencer IS350" is finally part of the 12-second 1/4 mile club!!
(Times are GPS certified by Dragy)
1/4 mile time = 12.8 seconds @ 107.82mph
1/8 mile time = 8.3 seconds @ 85.93mph
0-60 mph = 4.3 seconds (w/ 1ft rollout); 4.5 sec without rollout
0-100 mph = 11.1 seconds, 40-60 mph = 1.9 seconds

The IS350 was very consistent at pulling multiple high 12s during all of my runs.
**Note: Ignore the Christmas Tree overlay. It's a visual effect from Dragy's video add-on that's still in beta and has no effect on the actual GPS recorded times.**

Outstanding! Great job man. Good to know how capable this platform is in N/A trim. Too bad they don’t make cams for us yet.

Looks like you are being pretty gentle off the line. I bet you still have a tenth or two easily there if you have the traction for it.

Yes, glad you noticed. I had to be very conservative with my launch as both tires would easily lose traction on the road if launching hard. A prepped surface at a drag strip would potentially let me go harder on the throttle and at a higher RPM (above 1500 RPMs)

I'm kind of surprised that you have to be so easy off the line, even with the LSD. It might be worth looking into the rear suspension geometry to see if a slight relocation of a control arm mount gives us any more traction. I know I tried relocated control arms with my mustang and it made a difference.

I just noticed your posted 40-60 time is a bit slower than a good one for me. I don't think there is that much of a difference between our cars, I bet you have a tenth or two there too. I wouldn't be surprised if your car pulls off a 12.6 after getting everything figured out.

Tires, tire pressure, surface conditions, and yes - springs and damping rates all play a roll in bite and weight transfer during launch and typically speaking; drag cars are not road course cars and vice versa.... a pick your battle scenario!

Still impressive on all accounts!!!

Yep, so many factors. But the only problem I see now is that my once "fast" IS350 is now slow comparably speaking. LOL!

Yeah, no solid rear axle or Hoosiers on this IS350. LOL.

It doesn't help that you brought your IS350 back to stock form...

Well, my fastest pass was only with a SRI...not even with headers. Never could get to the track at a cold enough temp to even get close my fastest pass figure when I had the headers installed.

I only had the chance to do one attempt at a 1/4 mile and while there's still room for improvement, I think I did okay for being a drag noob. Rear tire PSI was at 34, brake torque was around 1200-1500 RPMs, and my upshift timing was fairly close to being at redline before each shift.

My biggest bummer of the single run I did was that my certified time was literally 13.00 seconds! If I was 0.01 seconds quicker, it would have officially made the IS350 a 12 second car. I'm hoping that with more experience and more attempts, I'll break into the 12s.

Here's an embedded video of my run:
https://youtu.be/-Iy2-8RrIS0

Here's my recorded times for my 0-60, 1/8 mile, and 1/4 mile times:

0-60 (4.6sec / 4.39sec w 1ft rollout), 40-60 (1.88sec):

1/4 mile time (13.00sec) & 1/8 mile time (8.39sec), 0-100mph (11.48sec):

Awesome!!! this makes me miss my is350 but i’m so ready to upgrade
