Default Vacuum hose size suggestion

As I piece together my NA-T setup I am taking care of all the little odds and ends now. I am looking into some nice strong silicone vacuum hoses for the wastegate and bov routing. However they come in several diameters. 1/8, 5/16, 1/4, etc, and Turbosmart sells there's in mm. 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, etc. Anyone know the "go to" vacuum line size? If there is such a thing? I don't know if there are any different effects on things by having too large or small a diameter. Some info suggests making the lines short as possible for better response, particularly with a mbc (boost controller). I'd assume diameter must have an effect then too.

After reading across many forums I have determined 1/4, 6mm, -4an (which are all the same size in different kinds of measurements) to be the right size. This is what the chevy LS guys are using, honda junkies, and DSMers.

Wouldn't the size of line for the wastegate and BOV be determined by the nipples/fittings?

All the fittings are on me to work out. All that came with the kit is the ops adapter for the oil line.

I recently purchased some silicone vac hoses on eBay these are the spec they provided: All are inner diameter, hope this is what you are looking for.
5/32=4MM
3/8=10MM
15/32=12MM
1/8=3MM
1/4=6MM
6/16=8MM
3/16=5MM

Your wastegate and BOV didn't come with any fittings? Nipples for the hoses they need to work?

Was your kit purchased used? Because those items should have been included, and you ought to contact CX Racing if you bought a new kit and they were missing.
