Default INTAKES FOR IS200t F SPORT

Please let me know if the F Sport intake is better than other intakes? If it is not what is the best recommended intake to get for my 2016 IS200t F Sport?

F Sport intake is not available for turbo models

Try Takeda, Injen, or AEM

You can also try the HPS tube only (silicone design) and keep the OEM filter box and use the F Sport filter (non oiled high flow and can be cleaned). The stock design is already pretty good for cold air, I would say there is less heat soak this way than putting a full short ram intake like Injen etc because those filters actually sit right in the engine bay where it gets hot. The stock design in my mind does a better job at keeping the air colder since it flows from the outside of the car into the box which is technically better insulated from heat. Of course the full aftermarket intakes enhance the turbo spool noise much more if that’s what you’re going for.

Injen is by far the most popular intake for this car.

Contact us for pricing, have many in stock!

I have injen intake it actually gets annoying after a while because you constantly hearing the BOV. If you don’t have a problem with that then go right ahead a cop it I honestly regret not getting a cold air intake. AEM recently came out with a nice looking intake if you do decide to go that route check them out!

I have a carbon fiber intake from ArmaSpeed. I agree with Thesickest that it can get old after a while, but some days, it's nice when you're feeling young.

I noticed an increase in throttle response so no complaints from a performance aspect.

Forgive my ignorance but the tube in the engine compartment isn't that the intake?

Thanks for letting know about the annoyance factor. You have given me some other things to think about.

Tatozelaya, I tried to post this the other day but I kept getting interrupted. Lol. Thanks for input about the annoyance of the intake. I also have a question for everyone: I posted a picture of my stock engine and I put a red arrow pointing to the tube on the engine. On the first part of this chat it was mentioned that an F Sport does not have an intake...my question is, isn't the tube part an intake on the stock F Sport? Thanks Dexus.
