Performance Exhaust recommendations needed!good

I have a super super nice ‘98 GS400 that belongs to a really good 73 year old friend of mine and he would like me to install a performance (not loud) exhaust system. Of course, he’d like to spend as little as possible and still have a quality system. Any recommendations?? Thanks, Scott

I would recommend the Tanabe Medallion Touring. Its a bit more at 900 USD but should be worth it. What is his budget?
