Also do not hesitate to contact the RR-Racing folks directly. They are the most active regarding the 2gen IS platform and are very responsive and helpful.

+1 waiting for the tune for the AWD 250. I tried the OVT one and was let down since they didn't have my Calibration ID on file. Wasted my time for a few months finally with an answer.

I hope to have good luck with RR on this.

I downloaded and e-mailed my ECU file today to RR Racing. Once I get the tune back I'll upload into my car and away we go hopefully.. looking forward to a modest power bump.. I'm not interested in dyno'ing the car but the added performance will be a nice treat I'm sure. I hear a lot about the throttle response and how it improves after the tune..

Do I need to worry about the knockers or whatever that are mentioned in the instructions? or is that only for ISF folks?

only for "ISF ECU" if i read correctly. For 350 owners just drive it regularly it says

I uploaded the tune and already went for a cruise.. and I can say after my first drive I can definitely notice a difference. I've had my IS350 now for almost 5 years and I can say that now with the tune the throttle response from 0-3,000rpm is instantly better. I wasn't in manual mode to hit the 7,2000rpm redline but I can report that up to 6,500rpm its absolutely bonkers.. I'll have to take it up to 7,2000 with the paddles and get a true taste of that extra bit of power at some point in the future. Installing via the obd unit is incredibly easy I must say. All in all I'd say the tune was well worth it and I haven't even driven more then 5 miles haha

Yeah I moved rather quick on it I guess haha and the shipping was quick so that obviously helps. What was the issue again with your tune aspect?

ECU ID wasnt in their library so they have to add it to the my genius database and get dim sport to help out is what they told me. Since the 250 tune was just released i guess it was to be expected. Should get it this week

Ahhh right on. I'm sure they won't be too long I had my tune back within an hour after e-mailing it off.

I'm looking forward to driving more in the future and getting to know my car again haha some of the other mods like the supercharger and ppe header combo is crazy as well.. not sure if I'm up for that yet but down the road who knows haha
