I absolutely love the sound. It definitely turns heads in public or passing by cars with their window down. WIth a stock box you can't hear the turbo spool and dump air, but with the intake it brings the sound out like no other!
I'm glad I didn't go with anything else because I got a great deal on the intake, and I don't think my expectations would have been blown away as hard from when I first heard the injen one.
Hmmmm, I’m starting to lean towards the injen but idk if I’ll do it haha. Thanks for the info though!

Trust me man, I'm sure Josh from Meraki could get you a great deal on one. It's where I got mine if I remember correctly. The intake is def the best addition to the 200T. Worst case scenario if you're not good with your hands you can take it to a mechanic and just get them to charge you labor. The airbox just has a few nuts and bolts + a clamp or two, and the injen intake is the same. They should be able to do it in under 30ish minutes.

Definitely get the Injen, I ordered it Monday and it arrived today. Installed it about 2 hours ago and had a blast hearing it on the freeway. Josh will take care of you.
I would recommend to slowly take your time since the heat shield was the most frustrating part of the install. At first it looked like it doesn't fit but you kind of have to do some lego stuff to make it work. I do suggest to have a friend to help cause that helped a lot which took me about an hour to install. The 2017+ IS300 RWD is a little different from the instructions but you will see the differences, just very slight minor things.
It's easier to take the entire stock intake off as a whole then by sections, saves a few minutes.
Thanks for all the input guys! And the install won’t be a problem I’ve done CAI and all kinds of stuff myself haha. I’m just worried I won’t like how the car sounds after I install it.
I have the F Sport air filter with OEM charcoal filter removed from stock box and a square hole cut into the lower box half (Like the OEM F Sport 350 intake) and you can definitely hear the turbo spool and pressure relief =p

Yeah you’re brave, I wouldn’t cut into my stock stuff haha.
Get the Injen bro, that’s what i did and i love every second since it sounds so much better and louder, every time i see someone walking by i just give it a little bit of gas and the intake noise is so loud that it stays turning heads, and under WOT and gear changes it sounds amazing too man, I’m telling you i totally recommend it, especially from Josh, best price 👍🏽

Hmmm, definitely tempted. Idk I will do it eventually I guess. I think I’m going to get rid of my wheel gap first by lowering with RSR’s. Thanks for you input though!

I did this with my '14 250. F Sport filter, with an HPS intake pipe and cut a hole in the front of the airbox.
