Purchase PPE headers instead. More power and new lovely sound! I've purchased similar upgraded coil packs, and because I installed them along with my PPE headers I cannot point to anything specific that they might have helped with. But I purchased Accel coil packs; definitely different, but there's only so much output a single spark plug can yield.

The thing is the ECU output is matched to the coils so changing the coils energy output only results in loading the ignition circuit more which often times means increased heat. Think in terms of matching an amps output to its speakers and wattage. The amps output impedance is set to the load it sees. That said the ignition output is not easily changed and coils are ohms, inductance (henry's) and capacitance. All must match and balance each other out.
When we left the erra of points and condensors towards capacitive discharge where dwell duration is managed electronically, it was a huge step. So unless you can engineer to a higher level than Master Yoda, I'd leave it alone for reliability reasons.
