If you want very loud, the only way to have that loud noise is STRAIGHT PIPE, remove muffler and resonator, that means you don't need to spend $ on new muffler your OEM one, Mod it !

I've had the ark catback exhaust but switched to the invidia q300 axleback with a resonator delete. The invidia q300 axleback with a resonator delete is much louder than my previous ark, so it really depends on what you do. As previously stated if you want loud just straight pipe with no cats or resonators but i dont suggest that lol

You're right about it being raspy if its straight pipe but with the concern of drone with my ark, it was present and pretty pronounce. ESP cruising at round 70 mph where the rpm would hold around 2K. In regards to no drone from what ive heard go with tannable or fsport axleback, even with my q300 axleback prior to getting my resonators deleted the drone was still prevalent. Hope this helps

My vote goes to JoeZ. I have the full catback and it sounds excellent. Like kitabel said though, after an hour on the highway the enthusiasm of any exhaust wears off. Around town though...
Here's a quick video of a slow takeoff I took a few years back.
