This is so awesome, I just scheduled to take my car in next week for tuning also. Matt is awesome answers all your questions and he even offered to pickup my ecu from me since I'm local. Everyone who wants a a tune give him your business!

This is such a cheap price for them to offer, and the more we buy, the further research they will be able to conduct to get the product fine tuned. Their transmission tune is basically done, and they're working on pulling everything out of this engine that they can. The customer service I have experience is enough for me to fully invest my time and effort in the OVtuned tune as opposed to the other companies providing this tune. Also the are located in SAN DIEGO! ----ATTENTION SOCAL CL MEMBERS---- I said San Diego!

They have the tune basically done for the transmission of the 2IS and 3IS, and luckily for us the 2IS "is simpler." He says that the 3IS "has predetermined shift limiters per gear, and depending on different drive modes, among other things..." so that kinda sucks for them... but they are in full drive for finalizing the transmission tune and it's ideally gonna be much more ideal for the 2IS (at least in my opinion).

I will post results when I get it back, and will post results about the further upgrades I intend on getting as they release them. My car is a 2007 RWD IS 250. Mazzuri Catless Headers, LMS Catless Midpipe with O2 Extensions (to delete CEL), LMS Axleback, DIY Fsport Intake mod (cut box).

Seriously guys, please hop on this. They are taking such minimal profit and offering us the opportunity to completely take advantage of their research and success.
Its coming!
Any idea how those who purchase this bench flash would get the trans tune when it is available? Will there be additional costs? Will the ECU need to be shipped again?

Mathew (ovtune guy himself) The transmission tune will be a separate, extra cost option but definitely not that much. It is not ready yet and we don't want to release until we have it 100%

Damn this sucks... Right when tuning is finally a reality, I'm getting rid of my car lol. Let me know if this tune ends up being the real deal guys!

I might switch up to a 2014 GS f sport that gets the 8 speed so hopefully their tune works on that as well. If not, then I'm probably switching to something more performance oriented... Keep me updated fellas!

Well nothing is set in stone yet. I'm still flirting with the idea of getting a nice v8 performance oriented car instead (Cts-V, Z06, AMG etc..) But one thing for sure is, regardless of my decision, I'll still be around the forums and Lexus meets.

Wish I could hop on-board the tune-wagon, but my IS350 is still my daily and I need my ecu. LOL! But maybe late next year when a second car should hopefully be in my future.

$300? Unreal. Does anyone know if this is the tune that adds 25-30hp at 7500rpm or is this something else? I'd seriously consider sending in my ECU to them if its that and use it until the 8k rpm tune comes out...

Right now its the phase 1. You can tell him to set the limiter to 7500 but he recommends 7000-7200. He said 18-25hp? Lol

I checked their website and apparently this adds 10 whp and anywhere between 25-30 lb/ft. Still is much better than what else is out there. I think I'll wait for the phase 2 or 3 one for now.

I wonder if they made any progress on modding internals to prevent valve float at over 7500rpm?

If you have a paperclip and access to TechStream to write your VIN onto a spare ECU, you might be able to pick one up for under $100: http://www.car-part.com/cgi-bin/sear...ey=&userPage=2

That site classifies thru 06/06 differently than 07/06 and later...not sure if they changed the ECU part of the way through the 06 model year. As long as the spare has the same part number as your current ECU I imagine there should not be any issues.

Wait what? I could have sworn he told me that with my mods (intake and true dual exhaust with xpipe) that I should see 300+whp? Can anyone clarify?

I've considered getting a TechStream for that reason alone. Still considering it actually.
