Default Invidia midpipe + CEL = :(

got my invidia midpipe installed yesterday and got a CEL after about 15 miles of driving. I have 2 guesses right now;
1) it's leaking since i re used all gaskets (both front flanges and rear donut) or
2) the o2 sensor is failing and I need a defouler(?) for it

did some research on this and some people say the o2 sensor always throws a CEL and others say it should never for an invidia midpipe. Going to read the codes at a shop this coming week and let you guys know - any ideas for now? anyone with experience with this?

It's most likely the o2 sensor being faulty. Had to replace mine when I first switched mid pipes

really? so u replaced the o2 sensor and it was fixed? makes me wonder why it only throws the code with the aftermarket mid and not oem. so u didnt get an o2 defouler? also got my diffuser on the other day and i love it! looks great for the price but ill tell u now fitment is about 7.5/10. ill post pics on the other thread later today when i can take some

Definitely pull he code and make sure it's the O2 sensor.

Please post some pics! If possible can you show the gaps and imperfections?

The rear donut gasket is reusable, the front 2 are not, if it's leaking you will get a lean code, fix the exhaust leak with dealer parts, not too much money at all, clear the codes and see if they pop up, if they do then one of your o2 sensors either was twisted and broke a wire or damaged from the job.

Was the exhaust don't with the battery connected? Maybe they had something stuck in them that blew out.
