High output alternator- where to get?
I've seen the DIY install but no one, that I can recall, hasn't mentioned where they got their H/O alternator and what amperage. I believe my bearings are going out so I'm now looking to upgrade ASAP. I've talked to builders and they say you can't get much more, amps, out of the stock casing so I'm wondering if anyone has a true 240+ amp alternator and if so is it direct fit?
