Back story (may or may not be pertinent)
Ok so I tried to back wife’s car out of garage yesterday morning and park on street due to ice and our steep driveway. Car slid backwards all the way down drive way. Once car was in the street I pulled forward put in park left car. Car ran fine before and during this and has had no issues whatsoever up until this point. 3 hrs. or so later car won’t start.

What it is doing:
Push button to start and it will rev up and crank sounding normal and after a second it shuts down with instrument panel dark. Then if you try to start again it just goes directly to accessory with no attempt to fire. Everything else seems to work in accessory mode. If you wait 30 min or so it will try to fire again and repeat this process. Each time it sounds like it is going to start fine and boom cuts out. Then wait again. Yesterday I had errors for VSC, Traction control, etc. Today after leaving the battery off all night I have a check engine light and an intermittent VSC error which will pop up and go away. Not sure where to start because it seems like ignition, starter, and rest of mechanical parts are working until it shuts down.

Also, put a OBD2 to check codes found 0 error codes, tried to start engine and lost connection with unit for the dead period until it allowed me to try to start again.

Any ideas to prevent me towing to the dealership???? Thanks in advance
