automatic transmission stuck in 3rd gear

just like the title says my automatic transmission to my 2007 Lexus IS 250 is stuck in 3rd gear I brought the car brand new back in 07 I now have 144,000 miles on it

I think your shift solenoid is done for. A new tranny would be best

Before replacing anything, disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes and reconnect. MAYBE that might help.

mine stuck on the 4th gear...cel on the dash @133K.
