I haven't dyno the the car. I have lots of experience working on cars and driving them too. I can feel power improvement over sound. True dual exhaust setup will give instant torque response. No need for ect mode or sport mode. As for resonators, go find one resonator that has dual inlet and dual outlet. Thats what I just did last week due to the horrible drone the X pipe was giving.

My question is... is there any of you that had the m2 with a resonator, and then got the resonator taken out? Did it have drone before and/or after the resonator delete? and did your guys' M2 mufflers just look like a perforated pipe going through the muffler to the tips.

Update no resonator delete or any of that. Just m2 exhaust, pretty loud for me too. Maybe just me>

Try looking into a magnaflow or cherry bomb replacement resonator. They are louder then stock but tend to not drone as much as a straight pipe.

I've had the M2 with and with out a resonator. It droned like crazy with out one.

My current setup is quite simple and budget friendly. I have a magnaflow resonator in the stock location followed by two magnapacks. This trails behind what I consider the hardest part and that's the delete of my secondary cats.

Basically the invidia mid pipe deletes the secondary cats. Why spend so much on it if I can find a shop to just replace them with straight pipes. So that's just what I did and it sounds nice. Not a lot of drone but still sounds sporty.

The M2 is loud with out a resonator and makes some great noise but for me the drone was terriable.

So I think I'm just gonna get one resonator (or muffler?) with two inlets and outlets. What one did you get? is there any drone with it?

The drone is from your mid pipe. If you had the stock midpipe with the m2 axleback there wouldn't be much drone. I used a magnaflow resonator replacing the stock resonator and it came out really good.
