Yes they are... We have been using this proven set up on all of our Lexus applications

Joe Z,

That is great! Now give us a dyno run on the IS 350 with your exhaust, your intake tube and a K&N filter. Waiting....................

Larry

Larry,

We have already DYNO'd the 2GR-FSE motor on the 2IS & 4GS platforms..
For the IS350 / GS350 this exhaust lay out consisently put down 8-10 rwhp...

Same applies to the Intake... 4-5 rwhp with stock filter. (Original Design Since 2006)

Eventually, we will get this model on the Dyno as well.. But for sure we will only dyno with stock vs modified parts... (in other words no other brand filters, etc.)

Results will be the same..

Thanks
Joe Z

Joe Z

I had an IS 350 Sport new in 2006 and had your intake tube with HKS filter and Tanabe exhaust. I wasn't sure if this new exhaust used the same muffler system as your 2IS system. Thanks for the info.

Aloha,
Larry

We've tuned it since then... But the core design remains the same, for Rwhp gains..

Since this car has true duals compared to the 2IS it makes me wonder if Lexus is being lazy on HP claims???

I'm really interested in getting this for my IS350. I already have PPE headers on it. How much louder will it be with this exhaust installed?

The exhaust tone is slightly up but still most would not notice it. I quite like it since it's very close to stock. You'll notice it from mid to high end of the rev range. I wonder if the JoeZ exhaust having lose the secondary cats and have different resonators that the sound will be unbearably loud and drone.

That's would be my fear as well, I added a header to my 07 civic 1.8 running with a CAI, Megan racing downpipe and fully GReddy Ti-C exhaust system and it became unbearably loud like I couldn't hear my passengers
