I'm about to install my axle back and was wondering if you guys got new gaskets or your using the exisiting ones? My Kit came with new bolts but not gaskets.

I'm looking at the axle back so when you get yours installed, please post some sound clips. Want to compare it to my stock one. I don't feel like spending the $1500 on an exhaust ATM but maybe in the future. I feel like an axle back paired with my GReddy intake would be a good start.

The Axle-backs only come with nuts, bolts & washers..

The small OEM donut gaskets are there to simply reuse.

The Full Cat-back Exhaust systems will come with new gaskets for all the new pipe sections that get installed. (no donut gaskets get reused on this version)

Enjoy,

Anyone know how to remove the top two bolts from the axle back?(each side)

Or do you have to remove the complete exhaust to do an exhaust(axle or full cat back)mod?

Our approved CL Vendor that you quoted is a great start..!

They have them in stock in Carson, CA.

For local install, I can recommend Tommy @ MusicBox in So. El Monte.
Lots of ClubLexus local members go there for bolt-ons.

Enjoy if you pick one up.

Axle back only:

The 2 spring loaded bolts on each side are 14mm.
Then there are a total of 3 hangers on each side that will slide off easily with WD-40.

This is for the simple axle back.

If you're doing the Full, I recommend a professional installer.!!!
Especially if you never worked on cars.
Since the entire OEM exhaust will need to be properly removed. Not a job for the novice.

How to I remove all the bolts for axle back install? I couldn't fit my wrench of the bolt on the top. It's a very right space and the black plastic guard seems to be in the way.
