yeah ok man, having hydrolocked a built motor i would be ok with a little heat and not inhaling water compared to just running it straight down with no bypass....not to mention you can put the bypass right where it comes into the car so it wouldn't be in the engine bay thus still getting cold air

ANYWAYS, if anyone routes a cold air intake outside of their engine bay, seriously look into a AEM water bypass piece to avoid sucking up water into the motor

Just installed the Weapon R Secret Weapon Intake on my Gs300 a few days ago. Came with a ram air kit also that I didn't install.

actually when you speak to aem, the bypass does not draw in air until there is a restriction in the filter then the bypass sucks, which in that way wouldnt matter because its better then sucking up water

has anybody had intakes throw codes?? i wanna get me an intake but i guy at a lexus shop told me this car was sensitive and was likely to throw a code

Just ordered a gs400 k&n heat shield to add on to this and it works. I just need to take a pic. Ill update it tomorrow
