Autosexy13 Custom exhaust system with magnaflow muffler
^I know I would! Hell, can you tell us how much you spent on everything too? I've got a friend with a shop (MIG, pipe bender/expander, lift, etc); so we can get similar results on the cheap. Hate seeing having to spend $800-1200- for a simple exhaust setup!
I spent a total of around $600 do it. The only thing i would change is adding Vband clamps to everything. I did use mandrel 2.5" cut into sections to make it which is why it cost so much. I do hate crush bending with a passion so i opted to do it this way. It also pops really awesome at high rpm decel lol

In the vid you said something about an X-pipe? All I'm seeing in the pics are two straights merging into the muffler and merging out into two straight pipes once again. Did you mean that inside the muffler itself it has an "X" design like this?
Well thank you for your kind words, i can make a few of these custom again, anyone interested? It but basically take the X concept, cut it in the middle and make it merge into a long 3" pipe and split again into two after the muffler. I had talked to my buddy who is a flow dynamics engineer and he said with the pulsing it should help to pull gasses. I did notice much better response and power from it after i did this exhaust. Ill see about getting an acceleration vid up
I'd be interested if I had a 350 lol. I have a 250 so it wouldn't make sense unless I went FI.. Plus mine is AWD so you'd have mock up a different design. Too much work for you! But thanks for the offer.
i think i just fell in love O.o def. one of the best setups iv heard since the F sport - megan midpipe combo. I'm def. interested if you make another one! My only question is how is the drone on highway?

Also interested to know about cabin drone. Have you got any acceleration videos yet? I did a similiar set-up on my SC400, getting rid of all of the stock exhaust from the cat's back, and replacing with dual pipes into an x-pipe then into two magnaflow mufflers (can't remember the p/n). It sounded pretty good but had some rasp to it. Does this setup create any rasp? Is there a benefit of the one single muffler in the middle over two at the normal position? Is your set up 2.5" piping all the way through?
Sounds nice. I think I'll probably go with this muffler for my build. With a V6 that's suppose to be the proper way to plumb it since the scavenging pulses work better off of a Y pipe. V8s I guess have more overlap and that's why they can benefit from duals with an X pipe.
